Hohhot Metro Line 1 project adopts the PPP model of "investment+general contracting+operation". It is the first full life cycle metro PPP project in China and the first metro line constructed in Inner Mongolia. After its completion, the backbone transportation system of Hohhot will be built and connected with national mainline railways and intercity railways, which will greatly improve the public transportation services in Hohhot and effectively relieve the city's ground transportation pressure.
